The plans and manuals offered by Maine Wood Heat Co., Inc. are thorough and complete. On most heater jobs, however, we find that our customers often require additional design services for layout of multiple chimney flues, proper heater placement, hearth, bench or mantel designs. Our New England customers often require that we spend part of a day with them on their construction site working out these details, especially if a local mason or contractor hired to build the heater is uncertain about placement of the heater and chimney in relation to floor joists or rafters. Please contact us for our current design and consulting fees. Please note that we will charge for travel time as well as on site or office design time.
